Cubs (ages 4 - 6)
At Rodgers’ TaeKwonDo, teaching children is a
specialty. Cubs (ages four to six) are in their own classes,
designed especially for this age group as an introductory and
preparatory for regular TaeKwonDo classes. Cubs will focus on balance
and coordination skills as well as listening skills and must be able
to follow directions and pay attention for the thirty minute lesson.
The Cubs curriculum will provide instruction and
activities to enhance the child’s physical maturation and
coordination, mental readiness, attention span, social skills, safety
awareness, self-discipline, and more. The Cubs program is an
excellent resource for parents who want to socialize their child for
pre-K and Kindergarten class and to get used to other adults besides
"Mom or Dad".
The Cubs curriculum will help develop
self-confidence through achieving set goals specific to the testing
cycle, self-control to walk away from a conflict when appropriate, and
at the same time develop the right mental and physical skills to
prevail when the situation demands it.
I would like to personally invite your child to
try our program. An introductory complimentary class will allow your
child to experience our program first hand. Children at this age enjoy
the benefits of TaeKwonDo.

At Rodgers’ TaeKwonDo, teaching children
(Juniors) is a specialty. Juniors (ages six to thirteen) are in
their own classes, with no adults mixed in, and are divided into
beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. These class formats
provide every child the proper attention and curriculum needed to
allow them to develop their physical and mental skills properly at
their own pace.
Our program involves challenging physical
activity with a great return -- self-control, self-confidence and
self-defense skills while learning in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
Students will develop self-confidence through achieving
goals each
testing cycle, self-control to walk away from a conflict when appropriate, and at the same time develop the right mental and
physical skills to prevail when the situation demands it.
At Rodgers’ TaeKwonDo Academy we also promote the
importance of learning. Our Partners in Learning Program ® allows our
instructional staff to receive information from your child’s academic
teacher regarding grades and in-school behavior. We will partner with
you and your child’s teacher to hold your child accountable for grades
and actions while attending school. Strong grades and outstanding
behavior is rewarded each
testing cycle by awarding stars to
students
who exemplify these traits. The stars are worn on the rank belt,
signifying individual achievement and as a reminder of the importance
of education. Students must receive a recommendation from their
academic teacher each testing cycle in order to continue wearing stars
on the rank belt.
I would like to personally invite your child to
try our program. An introductory complimentary class will allow your
child to experience our program first hand. Children enjoy the
benefits of TaeKwonDo and it’s a great way to keep the mind and body
in top form.

At Rodgers’ TaeKwonDo, teaching adults is a major
focus for our school. Each class is fun and exciting and designed
especially for adult students. Classes are divided into three
levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. New students will start
in the beginners class with other adult beginners. The beginner class
is designed to help the new student develop an artistic understanding
as well as physical skills. Each class format provides students the
proper attention and curriculum needed to develop physical and mental
skills at the best pace for the student.
Everyone, regardless of size, shape or physical
condition can benefit from our
TaeKwonDo training. The instructors and you yourself will put high demands upon your physical and
emotional faculties to develop a better person, a genuine artist, and
