Hi Mr & Mrs. Rodgers,
Just wanted to get back to you about how pleased we are with our son's interest in TaeKwonDo. He is not an easy kid to engage and has not yet shown a lot of willingness to really try hard at things. Although, this problem still exists to a degree, we have seen a lot of changes in him since he began attending classes there.
We have been trying for several years to coach his form for push-ups because he gets embarrassed that he can't do many, and TaeKwonDo is now motivating him to accept some coaching and do push-ups at home so that he'll be able to do them in class and get stronger as well. Our son is not a natural athlete, but the tenets of TaeKwonDo, the warm and encouraging environment and the ability to see individual progress has helped him to feel good about the progress he has made. The focus on respect is helping our household as well ; )
I think your school would be a positive and enriching experience for all kids and adults, both physically and mentally. We all enjoy the program immensely.
Thanks for running such a great school - we appreciate it!
